New ECHA critical review on dermal absorbtion of nanomaterials
According to a critical review commissioned by the EU Observatory for Nanomaterials (EUON), it is difficult to compare results and evaluate whether nanomaterials can penetrate the skin due to a lack of standardised, validated methods and the use of varying testing protocols. The review calls for more comparable and high-quality data through well-organised and structured research programmes that follow OECD test guidelines. Follow the link for more information.
